3 Injured In LPG Cylinder Blast In Mandi’s Bedar | 2 Referred To GMC For Advance Treatment

Poonch A devastating LPG cylinder blast occurred in the Bedar Balnai area of Mandi in Poonch district on Friday, injuring three persons. The blast took place in a house, resulting in injuries to three individuals, with two of them reported to be in critical condition.

The injured were shifted to Poonch for further treatment, and later, two critical patients, Mali Begum and Imtiaz Ahmad, were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for specialized treatment.

Mali Begum, 40, wife of Ab Rashid, and Imtiaz Ahmad, son of Ghulam Nabi, are currently undergoing treatment at GMC Rajouri. Ab Rashid, son of Ghulam Ahmad, is receiving treatment at Poonch and is reported to be stable.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. The cause of the blast is yet to be determined, and officials are working to ensure that such incidents are prevented in the future.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of LPG cylinders and the need for proper handling and storage procedures to prevent such accidents. The community has come together to support the injured and their families, offering prayers and assistance during this difficult time.
