SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13: Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today held a meet with stakeholders to review the strategy for implementation of Mission Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (YUVA) in the UT.
Besides ACS Forest and Secretary SDD, the session was attended by the representatives of Universities/SKUAST; JK Bank, SBI, NABARB, SIDBI and other concerned officers.
During the meeting the Chief Secretary advised the department to take steps to beat the inertia and plunge into action to learn from initial mistakes, if any for smooth implementation of the mission here.
Regarding the roadmap to be adopted he impressed upon the department to identify the resources and institutions for imparting training to the master trainers from every district. He also asked them to frame calendars for such trainings along with the venues and content to be taught to the trainees.
Dulloo further advised to run IEC campaign to create awareness. He asked them to carryout the surveys to reach out to the aspirants.
He urged for the completion of the skilling app without any further delay.
It was further underscored to map the skill courses offered by different Universities, Technical Institutions and training centres. He also advised the banks to come up with some lending products to further this mission in a time tested manner.
As far as the mode of training is concerned, the Department was asked to make informational videos along with Question-Answer session for the clarity of the trainers to make trainings more result-oriented and beneficial for all.
