KULGAM, OCTOBER 29: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan along with Sr. Superintendent of Police Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal today flagged-off ‘Run for Unity’ from Mini Secretariat Kulgam to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

The ‘Run for Unity’ embodied the spirit of unity and togetherness that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel so passionately advocated.

The event was organized by District Administration in collaboration with Youth Services and Sports, Education Department and District Police.

General public including students, local residents and officers/officials participated in the said event. The event successfully promoted messages of Unity, National Integration and the spirit of togetherness.

On the occasion, the DC administered Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to the participants. Further Parade/March Past was held by District Police Kulgam at DPL Kulgam.

The programme was attended by ACR, ACD and other Civil/Police Officers.
