Srinagar, July 30 (JKNS): Police have sought the public’s assistance in tracing a man from Bihar who has been missing from Srinagar since June 17.
According to details available with news agency JKNS, the missing person has been identified as Gul Sagar, son of Mohammad Naim, a resident of Mahalgaon, Araria district, Bihar. He was staying at Shivpora Public Park in Srinagar.
Officials said Gul Sagar left the place with his packed bag on June 17 and has neither reached his current destination nor returned to his permanent residence in Bihar.
His relatives and acquaintances informed police that he is mentally unstable, raising concern for his safety.
A missing report has been registered at Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh, and efforts are underway to trace him.
Police have appealed to the general public that anyone having information regarding Gul Sagar’s whereabouts should immediately contact Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh at 9596770853 or his known associate at 6006123968 namely Sanjir Alam. (JKNS)
