Army Commander Reviews Operational Preparedness Along LoC in Poonch, Krishna Ghati Sectors

Srinagar, July 4 (JKNS): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma visited the forward areas of the Krishna Ghati and Poonch sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) to review the operational preparedness and security arrangements, the Northern Command of the Indian Army said on Friday.

According to a post shared by the Northern Command on X as per news agency JKNS, the Army Commander assessed the operational readiness of troops deployed in the forward areas and reviewed the prevailing security measures.

During his interaction with the troops, Lt Gen Sharma commended them for their alertness, dedication and relentless efforts in maintaining operational readiness under challenging conditions.

He urged all ranks to remain mission-focused and continue upholding the highest standards of operational excellence in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers.

The Northern Command reiterated the Army’s commitment to remaining combat-ready under all circumstances, using the slogan #AlwaysInCombat. (JKNS)
