The event brought together students from various schools, educationists, parents, and members of civil society to discuss one of the most pressing social and educational challenges facing the younger generation.

Students from different educational institutions participated enthusiastically and delivered insightful speeches on the subject.

The speakers highlighted the growing issue of indiscipline among students and emphasized the collective responsibility of parents, teachers, educational institutions, and society in addressing the problem.

The seminar was attended by noted educationist Muntazir Momin as the chief guest. Other distinguished attendees included Junaid-ul-Islam, CEO of Incentive Foster Foundation (IFF) and Motivational Hub Academy, the Chairman of the institution, parents, and several respected members of civil society.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers stressed that discipline is the foundation of academic excellence, character development, and responsible citizenship. They expressed concern over the increasing trend of indiscipline among students and called for coordinated efforts to promote moral values, positive behavior, and a sense of responsibility among youth.

Participating students presented well-researched and thought-provoking speeches, offering practical suggestions to foster discipline, mutual respect, accountability, and constructive behavior in schools and society. Their presentations reflected a strong awareness of contemporary challenges and a deep understanding of possible solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Afzal, Principal of Alpine Institute of Modern Education, said that the seminar was organized with the objective of promoting Islamic values, character building, and moral education. He noted that the primary aim of the event was to examine the causes of indiscipline among students and to highlight the responsibilities of different stakeholders in addressing the issue.

He further stated that such inter-school academic platforms help nurture self-confidence, leadership qualities, critical thinking, and public speaking skills among students while providing opportunities for meaningful discussion on important social and educational issues. He emphasized that discipline is indispensable for building a civilized and progressive society and urged parents, teachers, educational institutions, and social organizations to work collectively for the positive guidance of the younger generation.

The speakers also underscored the importance of counseling, moral education, co-curricular activities, and a supportive home environment in shaping students’ personalities. They appealed to all sections of society to play an active role in promoting positive values and ethical conduct among young people.

At the conclusion of the seminar, prizes, trophies, and certificates were awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding performance. Special honors were presented to the first, second, and third position holders, while certificates of participation were distributed among all participants in recognition of their active involvement.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment to promoting discipline, academic excellence, and high moral values among students. (JKNS)
