SDM Karnah Flags Off Anti-Drug Cycle Rally Organised by Dream Valley School

Karnah, Jun 13 (JKNS): A cycle rally was organised by Dream Valley Public School, Tangdar on Saturday under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ to raise awareness against drug abuse and promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among youth.

The rally was flagged off by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Riyaz Ahmad from Degree College, Tangdar and culminated at Lountha Public Park. Students, teachers and local volunteers participated enthusiastically in the event, carrying placards and raising anti-drug slogans to spread the message of a drug-free society.

 

 

 

 

Participants pedalled through the designated route while advocating the campaign theme, “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life,” highlighting the need for collective efforts to combat the growing menace of substance abuse.

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, the SDM Karnah said the rally was aimed at educating young people and the general public about the harmful effects of drug addiction and encouraging them to adopt healthy habits and positive lifestyles.

 

 

 

 

The event witnessed active participation from students and members of the local community, reflecting a strong commitment towards the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the creation of a healthier and more aware society.(JKNS)
