Srinagar, June 7 (JKNS): As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 12 years at the helm of the Union Government and becomes India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, Kashmir unit BJP leader Altaf Thakur on Sunday said the party will release five special booklets documenting the government’s major achievements, historic decisions and transformative initiatives across key sectors over the past decade.
Thakur as per news agency JKNS said, that five special booklets will be released to mark the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, showcasing what he termed as a transformative era in India’s political, economic and strategic landscape.
In a statement, Thakur said the booklets would comprehensively document the government’s achievements, historic policy decisions and development initiatives undertaken during the past 12 years.
He said the first booklet, titled “Nation First,” will focus on major decisions taken by the government in national interest, highlighting what he described as strong and visionary leadership that placed the country above political considerations.
“The booklet will present key moments where decisive governance and long-term planning helped strengthen India’s unity, sovereignty and global standing,” Thakur said.
The second booklet, “Nation Building,” will chronicle the government’s large-scale infrastructure push, including expansion in highways, railways, airports, ports, smart cities and digital infrastructure.
According to Thakur, the publication will underline how infrastructure development accelerated economic growth and improved connectivity across the country.
The third booklet, “Nation Empowerment,” will highlight India’s growing military strength and achievements in the security sector. It will include references to Operation Sindoor, the Surgical Strikes, the Balakot Airstrike and other major operations undertaken to strengthen national security.
“The Modi government has ensured a strong and decisive response to threats against the nation while modernising the country’s defence capabilities,” he said.
Thakur further said the remaining two booklets will focus on economic reforms, social welfare schemes, Digital India initiatives and the government’s efforts towards cultural renaissance and inclusive development.
He said the publications collectively reflect the Modi government’s vision of building a strong, self-reliant and developed India. (JKNS)
