Srinagar, May 16 (JKNS): With profound grief and sorrow, JKNS and Daily Gadyal expresses heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the grandfather of photojournalist Sahil Mir.

Sahil’s Grandfather Ghulam Qadir Mir, resident of Narwara Eidgah, Srinagar, passed away on May 16, 2026 after a brief illness.

 

 

 

 

The deceased will be laid to rest as per family arrangements, while the congregational Fatiha Khawani will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the ancestral graveyard Narwara near Ahad Zargar Shrine.

 

 

 

 

JKNS and Gadyal Editor in Chief Arshid Rasool and his team prays for eternal peace to the departed soul and expresses solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
