New Delhi, Apr 28 (JKNS): General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), paid a visit to his alma mater, Sainik School Rewa, in a moment marked by pride, nostalgia and inspiration.

During the visit, the COAS laid a wreath at the school memorial in solemn tribute to the fallen, reviewed an impressive Guard of Honour presented by the cadets and interacted with the faculty and students.

He commended the institution for consistently upholding its rich traditions and for shaping young minds into responsible, capable and nation-oriented leaders.

Recalling his formative years, General Dwivedi shared personal anecdotes and experiences, highlighting the pivotal role played by the school in instilling values of integrity, resilience and service. Addressing the cadets, he encouraged them to pursue excellence, remain steadfast in their commitment to the nation and embody the highest ideals of leadership and character.

The visit underscored the significant contribution of Sainik Schools in nation-building by nurturing future leaders of the Armed Forces and civil society.
