The Curtain Raiser serves as the official launchpad for North Tech Symposium (NTS) 2026, the marquee defence technology platform. Senior officers from the Armed Forces, technology experts from industry, academia, MSMEs and start-ups will converge to witness the unveiling of field-validated operational challenges seeking indigenous solutions. This strategic initiative embodies the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision by creating structured Army – Academia – Industry interface for co-developing future ready capabilities specific to high altitude, extreme weather and contested environments obtained on our borders.

Apart from heralding the commencement of preparations for NTS, the event will also witness unveiling the compendium of Problem Definition Statements to align the participants towards achieving focused outcomes. The symposium is expected to feature technology displays, expert seminars and equipment demonstrations, fostering synergy between stakeholders and strengthening India’s journey towards Raksha Atmanirbharta.
