Additional Charge Assigned to Two IAS Officers in J&K Administration

Srinagar, Mar 23 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the assignment of additional charge to two senior IAS officers in the interest of administration.

The order has been issued vide Government Order No. 467-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated March 23, 2026, and signed by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju, IAS as per news agency JKNS, the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has been assigned the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department, till the incumbent resumes duties.

Similarly, the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, until the concerned officer resumes duties.

The arrangement shall remain in place till further orders or till the respective officers return to their posts, the order stated. (JKNS)
