According to the Army, troops of the White Knight Corps, working in close coordination with Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF, acted on a robust intelligence grid established through civil and military intelligence inputs. The forces tracked the terrorists for months through cold, wet and snow-bound mountainous areas, resulting in multiple encounters before all seven were finally eliminated.

The post further stated that modern technology such as FPV drones, satellite imagery, RPAs/UAVs and advanced communication systems played a key role in supporting the operation.

The Army said the killing of Saifullah along with his associates has dealt a significant setback to the terror network active in the region, underscoring the resolve and operational capability of the security forces.

“We Serve, We Protect,” the Corps said, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining peace and security. (JKNS)
