Northern Railway organized 373rd Management Development Programme in Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi, Dec 24 (JKNS): Management Development Programme (MDP) for Senior Supervisors of Northern Railway was instituted on 28th Aug’1985.

This is an essential aspect of Human Resource Development in Indian Railways; aimed to develop the Managerial skills of supervisors in such ways that they are able to bring about positive changes in management practices at their respective level and also contribute to increased manpower productivity.

These programs are being held regularly every year. Since inception, 373 MDP courses have been organized and 14534 Supervisors across all Departments of Northern Railway have been trained so far.

In this series, the 373rd MDP was organized from 15.12.2025 to 19.12.2025 at Railway Safety Camp premises in Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh, in which 42 participants from all Divisions/Departments participated actively.

Various topics like Environment Management, Personal Management, Leadership, Discipline & Appeal Rules, Establishment Rules, Time Management etc., were covered, which were highly appreciated by participants.

Various interactive sessions including a Quiz competition on Railway related Topics was also organized during the program.

Sr. Dy. General Manager, Northern Railway, Sh. Arvind Nautiyal chaired the concluding session and awarded certificates to all the participants. (JKNS)
