A proud son of Jammu & Kashmir, Vishal Chopra is widely regarded as one of the region’s most capable, determined, and nationally committed personalities. His extensive work across various states, combined with his sharp understanding of security, socio-political challenges, and grassroots mobilisation, positions him as an ideal leader to guide the organisation in a sensitive and evolving national security landscape.

Under Chopra’s leadership, NATF is preparing to expand its anti-terror mechanisms with renewed vigour focusing on awareness campaigns, community defence models, youth engagement programmes, intelligence synergy, de-radicalisation strategies, vigilance training, and public cooperation initiatives.

His clear vision revolves around empowering citizens, especially the youth, to recognise threats, act responsibly, and uphold national values.

NATF, working through its robust national network, remains committed to:
* Deepening national responsibility and patriotic consciousness among citizens
* Strengthening dialogue, awareness drives, and preventive outreach against radicalisation
* Supporting government-led anti-terror policies, intelligence efforts, and security strategies
* Offering rehabilitation, assistance, and long-term counselling to victims and survivors of terror
* Engaging India’s youth as ambassadors of peace, vigilance, and national unity

After being elected unopposed, Vishal Chopra expressed heartfelt gratitude and a vision aligned with India’s national aspirations.

“I am honoured to lead NATF in its mission to combat terrorism and promote peace.

I urge every citizen especially the youth to rise with a sense of national duty and contribute towards building a secure, progressive, and united India. Inspired by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, and Padma Bhushan Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, we must stand shoulder-to-shoulder to create a terrorism-free society.”

He further added that in today’s world, national security is not only the responsibility of the forces but of every Indian, and the youth must take the lead in shaping a vigilant, disciplined, and forward-looking nation. Strengthening the pillars of unity, duty, and patriotism, he said, will ultimately take India to greater heights on the global stage.

With Chopra at the helm, NATF is poised to broaden its outreach, enhance collaboration with security agencies, and build a powerful national movement rooted in responsibility, awareness, and collective strength reinforcing its dedication to a safer, stronger, and more resilient India.
