Bharat CSR Network Launches Key Development Projects in Dardpora Lolab, Kupwara

Kupwara, October 19, 2025:In a significant step towards uplifting rural communities in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharat CSR Network, led by Chairman Dr Sajid Saiyed, reached Dardpora Lolab in Kupwara district to initiate a series of developmental projects under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The visit is part of a broader mission to promote sustainable development and support local communities through focused CSR interventions. Dr Sajid Saiyed was accompanied by a women’s delegation & Mohd Shafi, who are in the Valley to promote Kashmir tourism and culture.

CSR Network Chairman Dr Sajid was accompanied by Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah whose invitation brought the Bharat CSR Network to Dardpora, Lolab. During their visit, the delegation held meetings with local stakeholders, including the district administration, ACR to identify key areas for intervention and cooperation.

The Bharat CSR Network team appreciated the District Administration especially DC Kupwara, ACR Kupwara, SDM Lolab, Tehsildar Lalpora and the District police for their cooperation during their visit.

Dr Sajid during the press conference announced the Key CSR Initiatives for Dardpora Lolab:

1. Health Centres:-
Establishment of modern health facilities in underserved areas to provide accessible and quality healthcare to the local population.

2. AI Labs in Schools & Digital Classrooms.

Introduction of advanced digital infrastructure and AI-based learning tools to enhance digital literacy, promote innovation, and improve the education ecosystem.

3. Waste Management Facilities.

Development of sustainable waste management systems to promote cleanliness, reduce pollution, and improve public health.

4. Water Remediation Facilities.

Implementation of clean water projects to ensure safe drinking water and improve water sustainability in the region.

5. Training centres for self-help groups in Lolab.

Speaking to the media, Dr Sajid reaffirmed Bharat CSR’s commitment to working closely with local administration and communities. We are here to change that by investing in projects that make a real difference in people’s lives,” he stated.

The initiatives are expected to begin in phases starting later this year, with feasibility studies and community consultations already underway.

Bharat CSR Network’s efforts in Kupwara mark a significant stride towards inclusive and sustainable development in Kashmir, reinforcing the organisation’s dedication to social upliftment through meaningful action.

Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, while addressing the media, welcomed Bharat CSR Network and its chairman, Dr. Sajid, along with his team, to Kupwara district for announcing CSR initiatives in the remote village of Lolab.
