According to reports, the demand for such a centre was earlier raised by AIKS President Ravinder Pandita, who took up the matter with Mr. Tankha. Responding positively, the MP agreed to support the initiative and sanctioned the amount to KECSS, which will use it for developing a museum and library dedicated to the cultural preservation of Kashmiri Pandits.

AIKS President Ravinder Pandita thanked Shri Vivek Tankha for his gesture and said the move will go a long way in keeping the community’s heritage alive for future generations.
