Vista Dome Train Service extended on Budgam-Banihal route until Jan 2025

Srinagar: The Vista Dome train service on the Budgam-Banihal route will be extended for another month, from January 1 to January 31, 2025.

This decision follows approval from the competent authority and aims to continue offering scenic train travel through the Kashmir Valley,” reads an official notice, a copy of which has been accessed by the news agency JKNS.

It states that train numbers 04688 (Budgam to Banihal) and 04687 (Banihal to Budgam) will operate except on Fridays, with 26 trips scheduled during the extension period.

“The service was initially planned to run until December 31, 2024, but the extension will provide an additional opportunity for passengers to enjoy the special service,” the notice reads.—(JKNS)
