SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 05: The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal today inaugurated physical training programme of nominated master trainers for roll out of phase II of SATHI portal at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi Srinagar.

Highlighting the importance of such training programmes, Director said, it will address the requirement of a well aware human resource for successful functioning of SATHI Portal.

He said SATHI portal will improve transparency and efficiency in the seed sector. it would ensure seed quality and traceability for farmers. He said the seed authentication, traceability and holistic inventory (SATHI) project would become a milestone in seed sector

Director Agriculture asked the participants to discuss issues with the concerned experts and get maximum benefit out of the said training programme.

Joint Director Agriculture (M) Sartaj Ahmad Shah and other senior officers of the department were present in the program.
