Khumriyal, Kupwara– Anhad, a well known non-profit organization, proudly announces its continued support for football development in Lolab Valley. Following its successful sponsorship of Shabbir Ahmad’s coaching certification an year ago, Anhad has now supported Aejaz Nabi Mir’s training as a licensed football coach.

Recognizing sports’ potential in fostering community development and youth empowerment, Anhad facilitated Aejaz Nabi Mir’s rigorous training and certification. He attended the week-long All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) camp in Punjab in August , 2024 and has been awarded the AIFF ‘D’ Coaching Certificate this week.

Anhad Community Centre dedicates itself to creating opportunities for marginalized communities. Supporting Aejaz Nabi Mir’s coaching ambitions aligns with our mission to empower youth and promote inclusive development.

Anhad Community Centre has reached out to government and private schools to provide free football coaching for boys and girls. So far we have face not succeeded in securing permission for free coaching. We are actively seeking alternative spaces for regular coaching. As of now we are running one coaching group in Wavoora.

Despite Lolab Valley’s 30 football clubs (all boys), girls lack opportunities to play or receive training. Anhad aims to bridge this gap.
