BANDIPORA, AUGUST 27: The District Administration Bandipora, on Tuesday organised a blood donation camp at N.M. Hr Secondary School, Kaloosa Bandipora as part of the ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
The blood donation camp was organized to encourage civic engagement and promote community service among voters and volunteers.
District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri; Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Kishore Kumar; Dy CEO/Nodal officer SVEEP, MS DH Bandipora and other concerned attended the camp.
The camp also witnessed participation of Brand Ambassador SVEEP activities, Padmashri Faisal Ali Dar.
Around 30 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and volunteers generously contributed by donating blood, demonstrating their commitment to electoral process besides more than 60 youth registered for blood donation
In his address, the DEO emphasised the purpose of the camp and said that this blood donation camp is not just a gesture of community support but also a strategic component of our SVEEP activities to create a more informed electorate and enhance the overall democratic process.
He said that electoral awareness campaigns are aimed to foster a greater sense of responsibility among citizens and improve voter participation.
The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of education, Health and other stakeholders.
The District Administration Bandipora extended its gratitude to all donors and participants for their invaluable contributions and their role in promoting civic responsibility.
