REASI, AUGUST 27: The SVEEP Team Reasi, under the direction of District Election Officer (DEO) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan organised “Matdata Jagrukta Mehndi Karykaram” here today in District Administrative Complex to promote electoral participation and awareness.
The program witnessed active participation of female voters, including women officers, students from GDC Reasi, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and the general public. Participants created innovative mehndi designs on their hands, writing “Mein Voter Hoon” and adding the voter prefix to their names, symbolizing their readiness to participate in the democratic process.
Nodal Officer SVEEP Sachin Sharma addressed the gathering, emphasizing the crucial role of each vote in the democratic process. He urged all present to participate actively in the upcoming elections, highlighting the significance of voter turnout.
The event was also attended by CDPO Reasi Surinderjeet Kour, Tehsildar Bhomag Mehak Mahajan, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society Bhawani Attri, DIO (Info) Ujwal Sambyal, ALC Annie Vaid and other officers.
