First Group of Pilgrims welcomed at Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra Station in Rajouri

The first group of 1338 Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra pilgrims arrived today at the Rajouri Yatra Station.

Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal warmly greeted the devoted pilgrims, emphasizing a hospitable beginning to their journey.

A spiritual luminary, Attal Peethadeshwar Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishwatma Nand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, bestowed his divine presence upon the event, enhancing its spiritual significance.

The pilgrims represented a diverse group with 907 males, 411 females, and 20 children, showcasing the inclusive essence of this spiritual endeavor.

Among others present on the occasion were DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, Dr Haseeb Mughal; SSP Rajouri, Amrit Pal Singh; ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria; ASP, Vivek Shekhar; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; CAO, Sohan Singh; CMO, Dr Rajinder Sharma; DPO, Auqil Nuvaid; Tehsildar Rajouri, Varinder Sharma and other officers and officials who came together to ensure the smooth commencement of pilgrimage.

Recognizing the importance of comfort of the pilgrims, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal meticulously assessed the facilities at the yatra station. This assessment covered essentials like clean water, power supply, community kitchen (langar), toilet facilities, sanitation, medical support, and security measures.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers and officials to ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay of Yatris.

The focus remained on ensuring a journey filled with ease and tranquility, aligning with the collective dedication of all involved.
