Fresh spell of rain/snow likely from 9-11 November: MeT

The meteorological department on Tuesday predicted for fresh spell of rain/snow in J&K from 9-11 November.
An MeT official told that weather is likely to remain cloudy today and from 9-10 November there will be light to moderate Rain/Snowfall over higher reaches at many places during 9th Evening to 11th Forenoon.
He said that there is no forecast of any Major Rain/Snowfall during this spell.
He said that on 11th November weather will be generally cloudy and from
12-16 November weather os likely to remain fair to partly cloudy.
He said that Snowfall & low temp. may led to temporary disruption of surface transportation, mainly over Zojila, Jmu-Srinagar HW, Leh-Manali road during 10-11th.
Prior to embark on journey, Know status of road from Traffic police to avoid inconveniences, he said, adding that travellers on major passes are advised to carry sufficient food items, warm shoe, clothes etc. With them as road condition remain uncertain during inclement weather.
