 LookA Medical Assessment cum Measurement Camp for Children with Special Needs (CWSN)/ Physically challenged children in the age group 6-18 years was today organized here in the Auditorium of the SP Higher Secondary School.

 

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad attended the camp as Chief Guest.

 

The Camp was organized by Chief Education Office, Srinagar in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporate of India (ALIMCO), Mohali Punjab and CMO Office Srinagar.

 

The Camp was attended by over 100 CWSN of different schools and out of school children from different parts of Srinagar District.

 

On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner interacting with the concerned Medical teams and other Experts and received first hand appraisal about the benefits being provided to the CWSN.

 

On the occasion, the DC also laid emphasis on giving focused attention towards the CWSN and urged all stakeholders to contribute their best for the Welfare and prosperity of the target group.

 

Among others, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Anjum Raja, Principal SP Higher Secondary School, Prof Nisar Ahmad, senior Health functionaries and other concerned were present on the occasion.
