29 Oct 22, Kupwara. ‘Special Campaign 2.0 on Swachhta’ was organised under aegis of Indian Army at Govt High School Kralpora & Govt Upper Primary School, Panzgam. The event was part of an initiative taken by Ministry of Defence to spread awareness on Swachhta and its benefits. The event involved educating school children on the Swachhta mission and encouraging them to undertake cleanliness activities within school premise.
This event is being held at national level and being publicized under ‘#MoDSwachhata2.0’ and ‘#IndiaVsGarbage’ in twitter. This initiative is successful fallout of Swachhta 1.0 program conducted last year wherein Kupwara region participated in full zeal and vigour. A total of 18 teachers, 164 students and 32 mil persons participated in the cleanliness drive. The event culminated with all taking a pledge to keep not only their home & school, but also their surroundings clean & green.
