DIPR organizes cultural programme at GMHSS Surankote

JAMMU, APRIL 15: Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations, in collaboration with Government Model Hr. Sec. School and Government Girls Hr. Sec. Surankote today organized a cultural programme to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Vice Principal of Government Model Hr. Sec. Surankote Mussarat Hussain Shah was Chief Guest, while Vice Principal of Government Girls Hr. Sec School, Abdul Shakoor Gorsi was guest of honour.

During the program artists of Cultural Wing Jammu and District Information Centre Poonch presented Patriotic and folk Songs which spell bound the audience. Students of the School also sang patriotic songs on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Chief Guest appreciated the Information Department for organizing the event in the educational institutions and hoped for organizing similar programmes in near future.

The artists who performed in this program were Surjit Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Balbir Singh, Vikram Charbathia, Harpal Singh and casual Artist Ashish Bassan.
