DC Kupwara chairs DLSCC meet; 2 cases settled

KUPWARA, APRIL 11: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC), which met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Imam Din today settled 2 cases.

A total of 5 cases of different categories were put forth for discussion, out of which 2 cases have been cleared subject to the fulfillment of all codal formalities. These include one case of Police Personnel which was cleared for SRO-43 and Civilian death case which was cleared for ex-gratia relief of Rs.1 lakh.

Two other cases pertaining to police personnel have been deferred for want of the latest report from CID.  Besides, one case related to property has been deferred for further clarification from concerned departments.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the disposal of pending cases in their offices so that timely settlement could be done in the next meeting of DLSCC.

ACR Kupwara, Gowhar Ali; ASP Kupwara, besides, senior officers from CID, Army and CRPF attended the meeting.
