Fahad is in Police Custody. He is represented by Advocate Umair Ronga.

Fahad has been booked in connection with his reportage about Pulwama encounter.

While talking to news agency Kashmir News Trust, Defence lawyer, Advocate Umair Ronga said despite court directions police didn’t file any report.

The Court had earlier directed the police to submit a report and site grounds about the detention of Fahad Shah.

“Its a complete wilful disobedience to court orders. Despite directions, no report was filed even after 7 days. We are moving  to the special court designated under NIA Act to uphold the majesty of law. Arbitrary actions by police is impediment of justice to innocent people,” Advocate Umair Ronga said.
