POONCH, Jan., 27: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today reviewed the power supply scenario in the district and directed the concerned officers & officials to ensure scheduled power supply to the consumers without fail.

During the meeting, various issues were discussed in detail manner which includes the status of receiving station and power supply in different parts of the district.

Officers and officials updated the chair about the status of newly receiving stations being constructed in the district.
The executive engineer JPDCL informed in the meeting that the total revenue target is 80 crore out of which 25 crore have been realised upto 31, dec. 2021.

The executive engineer project wing Rajouri/Poonch Maqbool Chowdhary informed that 91 transformers under PMDPR and 85 transformers under DDUGJY scheme have been alloted during the year 2021-22 out of which 156 have been installed and ensure the remaining will be installed before 31st of March, 2022 positively. He further informed that different receiving station have been completed in the district incuding, 3.15MVA in BG, 3.15 MVAA in Mendhar, 3.15 in Harni, 3.5 MVA in Jarawali Gali, 10 MVA in surankote.
Setting deadlines for different projects, the Deputy Commissioner directed to complete work of ongoing Receiving Station within 10days.
The Deputy Commissioner strictly instructed to complete the revenue target of power sector before 31st of march,2022 positively.

Directions were issued to Executive Engineers to monitor the progress on receiving stations and submit the report to his office and also maintain consumer Complaint Dairy on a daily basis.

He further directed to the JE’s inspect all illegal connections to their respective areas and submit the report within 10 days and also directed the executive engineers to remove all illegal connections including commercial works in the district.The Deputy Commissioner said that strict action will be taken against those who are violating the set norms of department.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineers JPDLC, Irshad Hussain, Xen Project Wing, Maqbool Chowdhary, AD Planning, M.A Khan,Assistant Executive Engineers, STD, JE’s and senior officials of the department.
