To encourage children ahead of the 73rd Republic Day, Naugam brigade organised a drawing competition in the valley of Mawer#handwara. The theme for the competition was aptly selected as ‘Tribute to republic day’.
Ever since the historic day, January 26 is celebrated with festivities and patriotic fervor all around the country.
12 children of various age groups from villages participated in the competition. It was a display of their imagination & their patriotism towards their country .
The participants were awarded for their efforts to further encourage them in pursuing their studies and taking painting as a hobby.
The enthusiasm, creativity and patriotism of the children added to the charm of the event.
