On 20 Dec 2021 a book distribution campaign was organised a for the students of AGS, Sopore and adjoining area by Sopore Rashtriya Rifles keeping a farsightedness in focus for the young minds to learn better and prosper .
The Book distribution was done to catalyse the interest and zeal among the children to focus towards a better future and also to overcome traditional ways and get in touch with modern learning. Books on various genres like self-development, history, learning values and biopics etc were distributed in the event. The day also emphasized in motivating the young minds to choose a path of bright and illustrious career ahead.
67 children from different age group from varying socio economic background attended the event.The children were active throughout the event . Teachers, parents and panchs appreciated the voluntary effort made by the Army and assured to take all necessary steps in regards to built a society with ignited minds .
