Directs all departments to online one of the public services at district level for the general public convenience

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting at of district officers at DC office today, to review the compliance of Hon’ble LG directions with regard to installation of complaint boxes as well as to online one of the public services for the general public convenience at District level.
The DC strictly directed all the concerned officers to ensure proper installation of Complaint box in all Govt offices under prescribed format by or before upcoming Wednesday, besides informed that any laxity in this regard shall invite strict action under rules against the erring officers.
Moreover the DC directed the concerned Officers to ensure that everyday the grievances shall be disposed off on priority basis adding to this directed to maintain the register for the same without any fail, besides asked to submit the report to the ACR who is the Nodal Officer at district level, at the end of every month.
With regard to the status of online public services being rendered by the concerned authorities to the people, the DC directed all the district officers to ensure that one of the public services app/portal shall be created for the general public convenience in online mode other than the other National as well as UT level online services.
The DC informed that aim of providing this online platform is to decrease the footfall of the people in the offices especially amid Coronavirus scare, besides asked them to take necessary support form the NIC officer in needed.
Meanwhile the DC also reviewed the status of estimation and progress on ongoing works under District Capex, in this regard the DC directed the executive agencies to expedite the estimation of all new works and ongoing works.
Besides the DC strictly directed that all the works who are targeted for completion this year shall be completed on war footing basis leaving aside the linger on approach, adding to this directed the REW to fast track the estimation of all works approved under ADP so that as soon as the funds are made available they will be ready for tendering and AA process.
The DC asked all the officers to work in tandem for fast execution of all the developmental works so that the assets generation shall be expedited across the district for general public convenience.
