Covid care centers to come up at every Panchayat in district

KULGAM, MAY 20: To strengthen Covid care facilities at Panchayat level, the district administration Kulgam is going to establish Covid care centers with a  capacity of 5 beds along with all other  requisite facilities at every Panchayat in the district.

This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat during  a meeting convened to review modalities to establish these Covid care centres at Panchayats and to augment Covid care facilities across the district.

During the meeting several other issues were discussed in detail to contain the spread of Covid-19 infections in the district. Besides he also took review of availability of covid care medicines and reviewed functioning of Covid-care hospitals.

The meeting was informed that adequate COVID care medicines are available in the district and there is no shortage of any medicine besides it was also given out that the situation is improving in the district and presently 45 patients are admitted at District COVID hospital.

The DC instructed the concerned to mobilize teams for screening of nomads and migratory persons.

The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, CMO, BMOs and other officers.
