Assembly Elections:2024 SVEEP: Electoral Awareness Rally taken out by GHSS Kathera

KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 09: To promote electoral awareness and encourage active voter participation, a rally was taken out today at Government Higher Secondary School, Kathera under the SVEEP programme.
The rally was organized under the guidance and supervision of AC Nodal Officer 66 Jasrota Mangal Singh and spearheaded by RO- 66 Jasrota Akhil Sadotra (ACD), Kathua.

The students, teachers, and local residents came together to march through the streets of Kathera, carrying placards and raising slogans that highlighted the significance of voting for a vibrant democracy. The rally also served as a platform to inform first-time voters about the registration process and the importance of casting their vote in the upcoming elections.
Speaking on the occasion, different speakers stressed the vital role that every individual plays in strengthening democracy. They urged all eligible citizens to exercise their franchise and emphasized the importance of educating the youth about their constitutional rights and responsibilities.
The rally was met with great enthusiasm and is expected to inspire greater participation from the local community in future electoral exercises.
