January 09: “`Range Level Volleyball tournament which was organised by J&K Police under Civic Action Programme at District Police Lines Anantnag, concluded today.
The tournament was inaugurated on 04/01/2024, in which 16 teams from South Kashmir Range participated. The final match was played between Spartan Volleyball Club Anantnag and Pulwama-B which was won by Spartan Anantnag by 2-0.
At the closing ceremony, cash prizes, trophies and mementos were distributed among the winning & runner-up teams, man of the final match, man of the series and match officials. The participating teams lauded the role of J&K Police for organizing such events and urged for more such event in future also.
The main motive of organising the event was to promote & boost sporting culture among youth besides, to impart a sense of discipline and sportsmanship among them.“`
