Sep 14:The long-neglected health centre in Botingoo village is set to finally come to life, thanks to the persistent efforts of the BDC chairperson, Dr.Farida Khan.Constructed in 2007, this health facility had remained unused for a staggering 16 years until now.

Dr. Farida Khan, recently approached Bupinder Kumar, Principal secretary health department to revitalise the health centre.

Her determined efforts bore fruit as the health secretary approved a significant allocation of 75 lakhs for the much-needed refurbishment and operationalisation of the facility.

She thanked Bupinder kumar for his help and support.

The Botingoo village health centre, which once stood as a symbol of potential but remained dormant due to a lack of resources and attention, is now poised to become a lifeline for the local community.The allocation will be utilised to upgrade the facility with state-of-the-art medical equipment, essential medicines, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals.

Dr. Farida Khan expressed her delight at this development, stating, “The Botingoo health centre has been a dormant resource for far too long.Its revival will greatly benefit our community, ensuring access to quality healthcare services that have been sorely missed.”

The village residents also welcomed the news with open arms.Riaz Ahmad, a resident, said, “This is a ray of hope for us.We’ve been waiting for years to see this health centre in operation, and Dr.Farida Khan’s efforts have made it possible. It will undoubtedly improve our overall well-being.”

The Botingoo Village Health Centre’s revival not only promises better healthcare access for the local population but also highlights the power of community-driven initiatives.It serves as a reminder that dedicated individuals like Dr.Farida Khan can bring about significant positive change in their communities.

With the funding secured, the process of refurbishing and equipping the health centre is expected to begin in the coming weeks.The villagers eagerly anticipate the day when the doors of the centre will open, providing them with the healthcare services they rightfully deserve.

This development underscores the importance of local leaders and their dedication to improving the lives of their constituents.

The Botingoo Village Health Centre’s transformation is a testament to the positive impact that proactive individuals can have on their communities.
