May 07: Farewell function was organized by Police in Budgam to accord warm send-off to the officers who have superannuated from their active services.
The superannuated officers include Shri Syed Zahoor Ahmad (Accounts Officer) and Shri Ashraf Ahmad Masoodi (ADO) of Budgam Police. SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS alongwith other officers presented gifts and mementos as a token of goodwill gesture and respect to retiring officers for their exceptional services spanning over more than three decades.
The farewell function was also attended ASP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Budgam, DySP DAR DPL Budgam, SDPO Magam, SDPO Charar-e-Sharief, SDPO Khansahib and other officers of Budgam Police.
SSP Budgam while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officers, conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officers and prayed for his good health and success post-retirement.
Both the superannuating officers also addressed the function and shared their years long experience in the department and thanked the department for such an impressive send-off.
