DC Srinagar resolves land issues for construction of new 33/11 KV RSs in the city

SRINAGAR, APRIL 15: In order to resolve land issues for construction of 33/11 KV Receiving Stations (RSs) in Srinagar Circle under flagship centrally sponsored scheme, PMDP-U, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad on Friday in his Office Chamber, here.

The meeting held threadbare deliberations with regard to allotment of land for construction of new Receiving Stations in Srinagar Circle under flagship Centrally sponsored scheme, PMDP-U at Umer Colony, Lal Bazar, Ali Jan Road, Gili Kadal, Buchpora, Parimpora and Tengpora area of Srinagar.

On the occasion, the DC asked the concerned to conduct immediate joint field visits to finalise the sites for on spot assessment for technical feasibility.

The DC also asked them to expedite the process at a fast pace so that work to further improve the power scenario in the district is started at the earliest.

Besides, Chief Engineer Projects, Latief Ahmad Shah, the meeting was attended by Collector Land Acquisition, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildar Shalteng and other concerned.
