DC Anantnag visits Chittisinghpora, participates in Baisakhi celebrations

ANANTNAG, APRIL 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla today visited Chittisinghpora to participate in the ongoing Baisakhi celebrations.

A religious congregation and a fair had been organized in the village on the occasion.

Speaking at the event, Dr Piyush Singla extended warm greetings to the sikh community on the occasion and hoped the festival will be a harbinger of peace and prosperity. He said that all religions preach brotherhood and promote feelings of unity.

The large gathering of people thanked the DC for his presence. They requested that roofing of the langer shed be completed at the earliest.
