Karnah, Jan 08 (KNS): An army porter sustained injuries on Friday in a mine explosion along the line of control (LoC) in Karnah of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reached to Kashmir News service (KNS) said an Army porter identified as showkat Ahmad Chuk son of Late Ghulam Rasool Chuk resident of Tanghdar Nard working as a porter with Army posted at Sib post in a forward area along the line of control sustained injuries when he accedently stepped over a mine.
A police official confirmed to KNS said soon after the incident the injured porter was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tanghdar where from he was rushed to SKIMS Srinagar for advanved treatment.
