Srinagar, Aug 3 (JKNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday congratulated Jammu and Kashmir’s talented Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Owais Yaqoob on his remarkable victory at BRAVE CF 107 in Bulgaria, where he defeated an unbeaten two-time IMMAF World Champion.
According to a post shared by the Office of the Chief Minister on X, as pwr news agency JKNS, CM Omar described Owais’s achievement as a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir as well as the nation.
The Chief Minister praised the young fighter for his outstanding performance on the international stage and wished him continued success in his career.
He also expressed confidence that Owais Yaqoob would continue to bring many more laurels to Jammu and Kashmir and India through his achievements in the sport. (JKNS)
