Srinagar, July 22 (JKNS): The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Kashmir, of the Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir has filed a charge-sheet against four accused before the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, in connection with a multi-lakh fake airport job recruitment scam in which several aspirants from across the Kashmir Valley were allegedly cheated on the false promise of securing jobs in the Airports Authority of India.
As per news agency JKNS, EOW Kashmir, of Crime Branch J&K has filed a charge-sheet before the Hon’ble Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, in connection with FIR No. 36/2018 registered under Sections 420, 120-B RPC read with Section 66(D) of the Information Technology Act. The charge-sheet has been filed against four accused persons for their alleged involvement in a job fraud racket.
The accused persons have been identified as, Mohit Sharma @ Bhardwaj, S/o Subash Chand Sharma, R/o 96-B, Baraula, Sector-49, near Government Primary School, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Mukesh Kumar, S/o Harday Ram, R/o P/S Sadar Thana Road, Bara Tooti, New Delhi.
Mehmood Khan, S/o Wakeel Khan, R/o H. No. 95, Hadoo Mohalla, H-Block, Madanpur Khadar, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. Ram Lakhan, S/o Ram Milan, R/o H. No. 2862/I-B, Singharas Nash, Karim Paharang, Tehsil Dumariyaganj, New Delhi.
The case pertains to complaints received from several districts of the Kashmir Valley, alleging that the accused duped unsuspecting job seekers of lakhs of rupees on the false promise of securing employment in the Airports Authority of India. Following a thorough investigation, the allegations were established and the case has been charge-sheeted in the court of law.
