Ashok Koul Chairs Organisational Meetings in Karnah, Visits Proposed Sadhna Tunnel Site

Kupwara, July 9 (JKNS): BJP General Secretary (Organisation) J&K and Ladakh, Ashok Koul, chaired an organisational meeting with the office bearers of the Karnah Constituency at Dak Bungalow, Tangdar, Kupwara, to review the party’s organisational activities and discuss strategies for further strengthening the party at the grassroots level.

The meeting was attended by BJP J&K Secretary Mudasir Wani, District President Kupwara Syed Rafiq Shah, Constituency President Karnah Imtiyaz Mir, along with other senior party functionaries and office bearers.

Addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul stressed the importance of strengthening the organisational structure from the booth level upwards and called upon party workers to remain actively connected with the people. He urged the cadre to work with dedication, discipline, and commitment to effectively communicate the policies, programmes, and welfare initiatives of the BJP-led government among the masses.

Later, Ashok Koul also held a meeting with party workers at Booth No. 28, Kandi, Tangdar, where he reviewed the booth-level organisational setup and emphasised that strong and active booths form the foundation of a vibrant and effective party organisation.

During his tour of the Karnah region, Ashok Koul visited the site at Sadhna where the proposed Sadhna Tunnel is to be constructed. He reviewed the proposed location and highlighted the strategic and developmental importance of the project. He said the tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity to the people of Karnah, improve ease of transportation, promote economic growth, tourism, and further strengthen infrastructure in the border region.

BJP is committed towards organisational strengthening and the holistic development of the border areas of Jammu & Kashmir. (JKNS)
