The Army said that under the campaign, interactions were held with more than 5,000 students across over 50 schools and colleges, while over 30 rallies and marathons, parents’ counselling workshops, more than 75 awareness lectures, pledge ceremonies and over 70 youth awareness programmes were organised across Jammu and Kashmir.

The awareness campaign carried the message, “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life,” encouraging youth to choose a healthy lifestyle and contribute towards nation-building.

Northern Command said the Indian Army not only safeguards the nation’s borders but also remains committed to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening society, including campaigns against drug abuse.

The Army urged citizens, particularly the youth, to join the collective resolve of making Jammu and Kashmir and the country free from drugs under the vision of “Nashamukt aur Shashakat Jammu & Kashmir” and “Drug-Free India.” (JKNS)
