Major Relief for UG Aspirants: Colleges Department Extends Fee Submission Deadline for Round-1 Admissions

Students Can Now Submit Admission Fee Till June 8; Physical Document Verification Scheduled from June 8 to June 10

Srinagar, Jun 6 (JKNS): In a significant relief for students seeking admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate programmes, the Directorate of Colleges, Higher Education Department, has extended the deadline for online fee submission under the Round-1 College/Major Allotment List for the Academic Session 2026–27, allowing aspirants additional time to secure their allotted seats.

As per news agency JKNS, Higher Education Department, has extended the last date for fee submission for aspirants who have been allotted colleges in Round-1 of the College/Major Allotment List for Undergraduate (UG) /Integrated P.G. admissions, Academic Session 2026–27. The new deadline for fee submission is 08-06-2026, 5:00 PM.

Aspirants who confirm their allotment shall thereafter report to their allotted colleges for physical verification of original documents from 08-06-2026 to 10-06-2026.

 

Applicants are advised to regularly check the JK Admissions Portal ([https://jkadmissions.in](https://jkadmissions.in)) and follow the official WhatsApp Channel for Admissions 2026–27, linked on the portal, for regular updates.

 

All other terms and conditions laid down in Allotment Notice No: DC-HE/2026/1700 dated 02-06-2026 shall remain the same. (JKNS)
