DC asks executing agency to complete trial of machinery, allied works at an earliest

DODA, MAY 25: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma today visited Government Medical College Doda and took a first hand appraisal of the progress on the installation work of 750 LMP Oxygen Generation Plant there.

 The DC was apprised that the testing of plant components and laying of pipeline, which shall be connected to the inplace manifold, was going on war footing. The concerned assured that the plant would be commissioned within days.

The DC directed the supervising authorities to work in tandem to ensure the timely completion of the project. Besides, he asked them to simultaneously start the process of augmentation of the plant.

Later, speaking to the media, the DC informed that there is no dearth of oxygen supply in the district as the cylinders are being refilled round the clock and the district has sufficient numbers of oxygen supported beds.

Among others present were Principal GMC, Dr Dinesh Kumar; Officiating Medical Superintendent, AH GMC,   Dr Shabir Hussain, ExEn PWD,PDD,& Mechanical department besides other concerned officials.
