Three Students Earning Medals and Selection for Asian School Games

Srinagar: Birla Open Minds International School Pampore has added yet another feather to its cap in the field of sports. Three students from BOMIS Pampore achieved remarkable success at the North West Karate Championship held in Kurukshetra, Haryana, from 3rd to 6th January 2025.
Mahira Nawaz, the youngest participant from Kashmir, clinched a gold medal, while Mohammad Safwan also bagged a gold medal. Usaid Muneer earned a silver medal, showcasing their exceptional talent and determination. All three players have been selected to represent the school and the region at the Asian School Games Championship scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in April 2025. The management and principal, Dr. Mehnaz Rehman, extended heartfelt congratulations to the achievers and wished them the best of luck for the upcoming championship in Sri Lanka.
