Kathua, Sept 30 (JKNS): A 54-year-old man was found dead inside his room in the Hiranagar area of Kathua district, officials said on Wednesday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS taht, the deceased has been identified as Khem Raj, son of Bodh Raj, a resident of Kunthal. His room was found closed from inside when the body was discovered.
Officials said the deceased was reportedly having a matrimonial dispute with his wife, which is sub-judice before the court. He was also reportedly a habitual alcoholic.
Inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the circumstances and cause of death, officials said. (JKNS)
