Srinagar, Sep 23 (JKNS): The Private Schools Association Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has welcomed the assurance given by the J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah regarding the reduction of unnecessary No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) and regulatory burdens on the private education sector.
In his address during the award ceremony of the ALOHA National Level Competition-2026 at SKICC here, CM Omar assured the private sector in Jammu and Kashmir, including both school and higher education that the Government would work towards creating a conducive ecosystem of “Ease of Doing” and “Ease of Establishment.”
He reiterated that, in the case of private schools, unnecessary NOCs and regulatory requirements would be reduced in the coming days.
President PSAJK, Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Education Department for this positive and forward-looking approach.
“Private education is an important knowledge partner of the Government and is contributing significantly to the educational development of Jammu and Kashmir. We welcome the Chief Minister’s assurance and look forward to a more conducive, transparent and enabling environment for private schools,” Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam said. (JKNS)
